• Toured Midwest with Wisconsin Music Ventures Booking at Red Lion’s and Holiday Inns, holiday events, and other Midwest venues
• I was playing keyboards (Fender Rhodes/Organ/Acoustic Piano) and guitar.

Bass Guitar Lessons

• Started playing Bass guitar exclusively in all Rock and Jazz bands going forward in performances.

1978 - 2010

Las Vegas Recording Studio

• Intern as Assistant Engineer for 1 year.
• Promoted to Audio and Recording Engineer and managed Studio sessions.
• Co-produced mix sessions for selected artist music
• Managed solo artist recording sessions.
• Tape editing / Microphone placement

1978 - 1982

Heads or Tails Band

• Joined Heads or Tails band playing Bass, Guitar, and Keyboards, and Harmony Vocals
• Played many Las Vegas local venues, clubs, and events

1982 - 1992

VectraSound Recording Studio Las Vegas

• Owned, Operated, Created and Constructed 5000 Sq ft Warehouse into 12 rehearsal studios, 1 main performance showcase room, and an adjacent 32 track Analog Recording studio.
• Managed all rehearsal studios, showcase room, and recording studio.
• Recorded several professional artists over the years as well as local bands.

1986 - 1990

LNQ Band

• Won 1^st place at Local Las Vegas Battle of the Bands at the Moby Grape Club.
• 1st place prize LNQ to perform a set at Madame Wongs Club in Hollywood.

1992 – 1995

Jazz Alive Band

• 3 piece Jazz Trio - Keyboards, Bass, and Drums
• I played Bass in the band
• Performed 3 shows a week at Las Vegas Hilton Lounge for 2 months
• Regular Performances at Gustav Maulers Cigar Bar in Summerlin, Las Vegas
• Recorded and Produced “This is Jazz Alive" in 2000
• CD Release Party at Sam's Town Las Vegas

1996 – 2000

2003

Anything But Hip Band

• Joined Anything But Hip Horn Band.
• Played at many local venues and events in Seattle and other local areas.
• Played 30 weeks a year over 3 years
• Playing Bass guitar and sang Harmony Vocals

2005 - 2008

Big Dog Revue Band

• Live Sound Engineer for the Big Dog Revue Band over 6 months and various venues.
• Set up all support sound equipment and PA for each event.
• Managed and ran live sound for band during performance.

2008

Astrocats Band

• Joined the Astrocats band in Issaquah, Washington playing Bass guitar and Harmony Vocals.
• Band played for years at various local events and clubs throughout Seattle and Issaquah.
• The Astrocats Band was invited to open the Annual Music Fest in Chefchaouen, Morocco and performed opening in 2012.

2009 -2012

Induction Las Vegas Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - 80s bands.

• Darryl DJ Jackson and the Heads or Tails Band Inducted into the Las Vegas Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

VectraSound Recording Studio Reno

• Opened VectraSound Studio in Reno, Nevada
• Won BEST OF SPARKS Award for Best Recording Studio 2 years in a row 2022-2023
• Full-service recording studio including all digital recording formats, standard DAWs, all basic instruments.
• Work with several recording artists in recording and producing in various genres including, Country, Rock, Classical, RAP, HipHop, Metal, Alternative, and others.
